Ext JS 4.0 Final Released

After developing in a couple of months, the Ext JS team announced the final release of Ext JS 4.0 and now available for download and public consumption.
“Ext JS 4 marks the most comprehensive modernization of the framework since its inception, featuring an improved architecture and many new features that will enable you to create the next generation of rock solid applications for the web. Almost every aspect of the framework has been upgraded and optimized to leverage today’s modern browser, while providing fidelity to their predecessors”, the Official Sencha Blog said.



The Ext JS 4.0 comes to bring new features including CheckHeader fires an additional change event, Charts draw undefined values, and Floating should allow Component as an argument to alignTo. It also comes with a huge of bug fixes for the previous release / beta version including Normalize text baseline calculation for FireFox 3.0 and 3.5, Forum search example – search does not work, DragSelector does not maintain selection in IE and many more.
